Privacy & account data
Browse, download and read reviews freely.
Google sign-in is required only to post a review.
Sign-in and account verification
Opening the sign-in dialog loads Google Identity Services. After you choose an account, our server verifies the identity credential issued by Google and uses your Google account identifier, name and email to create a site account. This identifies review authors and lets you manage your content. We do not request access to Gmail, Drive or contacts, and we do not read your Google password.
Google sign-in verifies account identity only. It does not establish that a reviewer has downloaded, purchased or played a game. Public reviews do not expose email addresses or Google account identifiers.
What information is public in reviews?
When you post a review, your Google display name, rating, review text, posting date and update date are public. Each account can keep one review per game and may edit or delete it. Do not include phone numbers, addresses, email addresses or other information you do not want to make public.
Data retention and sign-in cookies
Account data and reviews are stored in Cloudflare D1 until you delete the relevant review or your site account. A necessary sign-in cookie keeps you signed in for up to seven days. It uses HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite protections; page scripts cannot read the session credential. Signing out invalidates the current session and removes its cookie.
To prevent forged sign-ins and spam, the site also keeps short-lived login challenges and rate-limit records. Login challenges expire after about ten minutes. Rate-limit identifiers are hashed and expire shortly afterwards. Google credentials are not stored in localStorage, and email addresses are not included in the public review API.
Editing, deleting and signing out
After signing in, go to Player reviews on the game page to edit or delete your review. Choose Sign out under My account to end the current website session without affecting other Google websites. To remove your site account and all reviews, choose Delete account and all reviews under My account, then confirm. This deletes your account, reviews and sessions from our database; it does not delete your Google account.
To remove the Google connection, visit Google third-party connections. Removing the Google connection alone does not delete public reviews. Delete them on this site first.
Third-party services
The website, game files and review service are provided through Cloudflare Pages, R2, Workers and D1. Providers process network data needed to serve requests, including IP addresses and request logs. Google provides sign-in services and fonts. For details, see the Cloudflare privacy policy and Google privacy policy.
